Duolingo is a personal coach that is designed to help you learn a new language by making the whole process feel just like a game! Users read, listen, and speak their way to earning points and meeting their set goals. Duolingo is designed so that you can learn “anytime, anywhere” - as long as there is a connection to the internet. Teachers can also set up classrooms and track the progress of their students. This program can be played on all computer and mobile devices/tablets of any platform, and is completely free.
Objective: By the end of the course, you will be familiar with the interactivity of Duolingo, and why it may appeal to a wide range of students. You will also be able to set up your own on-line classroom and track the progress of your students.
